Born and raised on the beautiful coastline of Perth, I've always been a nature girl, with an adventurous spirit and eager to live life to the fullest!
My itchy feet and curiosity have taken me all over the world (always with camera in hand). From living the van life in New Zealand with my fiance Liam for two months, backpacking in Europe, relaxing in Thailand, a solo exploration of Peru on my own for three weeks and (most recently) living in BC Canada for 4 years.
The last few years living in Squamish BC was an incredible experience and one where I truly felt like I 'found myself'. I was a pack leader for a local dog walking company and was out everyday in the mountains, forests and rivers with my gorgeous furry friends, and always taking photos. My passion and skills with both photography and working with dogs flourished. It was the dream!
I loved being involved with the community and would attend markets, events and donate my services and products to the local SPCA rescue shelter.
Pre travel bug, dogs and pets were a big part of my life. From being raised with dogs, cats, birds, fish, rabbits, to training our Border Collie x Rottie to be a Search and Rescue dog, volunteering at Riding for the Disabled with the horses and completing Certificate III Companion Animal Studies after graduating high school. Being able to combine my passion for dogs and photography, and earn my living from this is truly rewarding. I love how happy it makes others to see beautiful (and derpy!) photos and artworks of their fur babies!
While my business (and personal photography) takes up the majority of my time I also enjoy home cooking and trying to live more sustainably (which I also bring into my business re. packaging, product sourcing etc), thrift shopping, caring for my (ever)growing indoor plant collection, exploring breweries and new craft brews with Liam (brewer himself, can a girl be so lucky?!) and of course getting out camping or hiking at all opportune moments.
Life will also be 100000 x better when we can finally get a puppy of our own! -Watch this space-
